PVC Door Skin Production Line Customer Case Successfully Running in Iraq

This project involved the design, manufacturing, delivery, and commissioning of a complete PVC door skin production line for a professional door manufacturer in Iraq.

Before cooperation with EANS, the customer was facing challenges with inconsistent product quality, high production costs, and unstable manufacturing efficiency from their existing equipment. After visiting multiple extrusion machinery suppliers and conducting detailed evaluations, the customer selected EANS as their trusted partner for production line upgrading.

The project covered the complete turnkey process, including factory trial production, equipment delivery, overseas installation and commissioning, operator training, and production optimization support.

Customer Background

The customer is a professional manufacturer of PVC interior doors, decorative door panels, and building materials located in Iraq.

With the continuous growth of local construction and real estate markets, the company planned to upgrade its production capability by introducing a more reliable and efficient PVC Door Skin Manufacturing Line to improve product quality, expand production capacity, and strengthen its competitiveness in the market.

After extensive market research and visits to several extrusion machinery manufacturers, EANS became one of the customer’s key candidates due to its experience in plastic extrusion solutions and complete project support capabilities.

Customer Requirements

Before investing in the new production line, the customer was facing several critical production challenges that limited business growth:

1. Unstable PVC Door Skin Quality

The existing production equipment had difficulty maintaining consistent product quality. Common issues included uneven surface finish, inconsistent thickness, unstable embossing effects, and poor dimensional stability.

These quality problems affected the appearance and forming performance of the final PVC door skins, increasing material waste and reducing production efficiency.

2. High Manufacturing Costs

The previous production system had limited output capacity and high operating costs. Low production efficiency, increased labor requirements, and additional manual processing resulted in higher manufacturing costs and reduced profitability.

3. Concerns About Production Stability After Installation

Although the customer could see successful machine operation during supplier visits, they were concerned whether the same production performance could be achieved after installation in Iraq.

Their main concerns included:

• Different PVC raw material characteristics
• Local power supply conditions
• Operator experience
• Long-term equipment stability

The customer needed not only a machine supplier but also a reliable technical partner who could ensure successful production after delivery.

Our solution

Based on customer request, our technical team supplied a complete PVC door skin production line including:

1. SRL500/1000 PVC heating and cooling mixer unit: The mixing machine pot is made of high-quality 304 stainless steel, and the intelligent electrical cabinet monitors the temperature of hot and cold mixing in real time to ensure uniform mixing of the formula.

2. SJZ92/188 conical twin screw extruder: Customized screw and barrel design, specifically for soft PVC materials, ensuring good product flexibility, and adopting Siemens motor, ABB inverter, Siemens PLC controlling system, etc.

3. 2200 Extrusion T die: Made of P20 material, specially designed for wide PVC door skin sheet, with stable extrusion pressure and ensuring a smooth door skin surface.

4. Three roller calender machine: Equipped with an intelligent roller temperature control system, it solves the stress deformation problem caused by uneven cooling of traditional boards, and the surface flatness error is less than 0.1 mm.

5. Self-cooling bucket: release the temperature from door skin

6. Two roller hauling off machine: tracking the PVC sheet with stable speed.

7. Precision shearing machine: The cut edges are clear and free of scratches

8. Roller stacker: stack the door skin sheet into one pallet.

9. Waste PVC crusher and grinder machine: Recycle the waste PVC into powder materials, then mix with new materials to extrude new door skin sheet. Waste PVC is necessary and important for the high-quality PVC door skin manufacturing process.
