PC ABS Cable Duct Production Line
Home Product PE PVC WPC Profile Making Machine PC ABS Cable Duct Prodution Line
A PC ABS cable duct production line is a completely automated plastic extrusion system specially designed to manufacture high-performance, halogen-free, flame-retardant plastic cable ducts. It is also referred to as a wiring duct or cable trunking extrusion line in different markets. The line integrates precision extrusion, vacuum calibration, online punching, and automatic cutting to provide continuous production of cable duct bodies and covers with consistent dimensions and reliable surface quality. It is suitable for cable management applications in rail transit, industrial control, power distribution, data centers, telecommunications, and other demanding electrical systems.

1. Raw material drying: PC ABS materials absorb moisture easily, so drying is essential before extrusion. A honeycomb dehumidifying dryer typically dries the material at 100–110°C for 3–4 hours, reducing moisture content to below 0.02% to help prevent bubbles, silver streaks, and material degradation.
2. High-temperature extrusion: The dried material enters a single screw extruder, where it is melted and homogenized under controlled temperature and high torque. Barrel temperatures are typically maintained between 210°C and 270°C, while the screw usually operates at 20–50 rpm to achieve stable melt flow.
3. Die forming and vacuum calibration: The molten material passes through a precision die to form the cable duct profile, then enters a vacuum calibration system with 20–25°C circulating cooling water. This process helps stabilize the profile dimensions, wall thickness, and surface quality.
4. Online punching: The PC ABS cable duct production line performs online punching to create finger-slot openings used for cable routing. High-speed servo punching, combined with localized preheating, helps produce clean edges with minimal burrs and consistent hole positioning.
5. Haul-off and dust-free cutting: A synchronized haul-off unit maintains a stable production speed of approximately 2–5 m/min, while the automatic cutting system cuts each cable duct to the preset length without generating excessive plastic debris.
6. Inspection and packing: After production, the cable duct body and cover are inspected for dimensional accuracy, slot fit, and surface quality before packaging for shipment. This final inspection helps ensure consistent product quality throughout the pc abs cable duct production line.
