♦ The PC series plastic pipe and profile crusher machines are available in rotor widths up to 1400 mm and diameters ranging from 560 to 700 mm. The completely welded heavy steel cutting chamber is angled and fitted with an extended hopper to allow easy feeding of parts. The standard V-cut creates a high-quality regrind with a very low percentage of fines in the output material. Other standard features include a hydraulically opened hopper for outboard bearings, reducing the risk of contamination.
A Plastic Crusher Machine solves common waste handling and recycling challenges in plastic manufacturing by reducing bulky plastic waste into manageable pieces for reuse and further processing.
• Bulky plastic waste is difficult to handle
Large plastic waste takes up storage space, increases transportation costs, and is inconvenient to handle without size reduction.
• Production scraps occupy valuable factory space
Edge trims, off-cuts, and defective products quickly accumulate during production, affecting workshop organization and efficiency.
• Injection molding waste cannot be reused directly
Sprues, runners, and rejected molded parts are often too large for direct reuse and need crushing before recycling.
• Downstream recycling requires a suitable feed size
Washing lines, conveying systems, and other recycling equipment require crushed plastic with a controlled size for smoother processing.
• Reduce waste and improve material utilization
Crushing production waste allows manufacturers to recover reusable plastic material, helping improve resource utilization and reduce waste management costs.
With a heavy-duty cutting system, durable blades, and a replaceable screen, the machine delivers efficient crushing performance. It helps achieve consistent output size for downstream plastic recycling, washing, and pelletizing processes. Different models and configurations can be selected according to material type, feed size, required capacity, and target particle size.

1. Efficient Plastic Waste Reduction
The PC series plastic crusher machine quickly crushes bulky plastic waste, production scraps, and defective products into recyclable flakes, reducing material volume and improving recycling efficiency for continuous production.
2. Consistent Output Size with Replaceable Screen
A replaceable screen controls the final particle size, producing more uniform crushed plastic for granulating, washing, extrusion, and other recycling processes.
3. Handles a Wide Range of Plastic Materials
Suitable for PP, PE, PVC, PET, ABS, PS, PC, and other soft and hard plastics, the machine can process bottles, pipes, profiles, sheets, films, sprues, runners, edge trims, and injection-molding scraps.
4. High-Output Crushing Chamber with Multiple Rotor Options
A high-capacity crushing chamber combined with multiple rotor configurations helps optimize crushing performance for different material sizes, shapes, and production requirements.
5. Durable Steel Construction with Reliable Bearings
The heavy-duty welded steel frame, wear-resistant cutting blades, and oversized outboard bearings provide stable operation, improved durability, and long service life in demanding industrial environments.
6. Easy Knife Adjustment and Flexible Configuration
The plastic crusher machine cutting knives can be adjusted from outside the machine for easier maintenance and reduced downtime. The crusher can also be configured according to material type, feeding size, processing capacity, and required output size for different plastic recycling applications.
Plastic Waste → Feeding → Cutting & Shearing → Size Reduction → Screening → Discharge
1. Feeding: Waste plastic materials are fed into the feeding hopper, which guides the material into the crushing chamber. Depending on the application, the Plastic Crusher Machine can process plastic scraps, production waste, defective products, injection molding scraps, sprues, runners, edge trims, bottles, pipes, profiles, sheets, and other plastic waste. A splash-proof or protective baffle around the feeding area helps reduce the risk of plastic pieces being thrown out during the crushing process.
2. High-Speed Cutting & Crushing: After entering the crushing chamber, the plastic is processed by a high-speed rotating rotor driven by the main shaft and belt pulley system. The rotating blades work together with fixed blades with a precisely controlled cutting gap. As the rotor rotates, the plastic is subjected to repeated cutting, shearing, tearing, and compression, rapidly reducing bulky plastic waste into smaller pieces.
3. Screening & Size Control: A semi-circular screen is installed at the bottom of the crushing chamber. The screen is available with different opening sizes, such as 6 mm, 8 mm, or 12 mm, depending on the required output size. During crushing, the plastic pieces continuously move inside the chamber. Pieces smaller than the screen openings pass through the screen, while oversized pieces remain in the crushing chamber and are carried back into the cutting area for further crushing until they reach the required size.
4. Discharge: Once the crushed plastic reaches the required size, it passes through the screen and falls into the collection bin below the machine. Depending on the machine configuration, an air blower or suction conveying system can also transfer the crushed plastic through a pipeline to a storage container or the next processing stage, such as a plastic washing line or other recycling equipment.
The Plastic Crusher Machine consists of six core systems that work together to achieve efficient plastic crushing, stable output size control, reliable power transmission, and safe operation. Understanding these key components helps buyers evaluate machine performance, maintenance requirements, and long-term durability.
System | Main Components | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Feeding System | Feeding Hopper, Protective Baffle | Guides plastic waste into the crushing chamber while helping prevent material splash during operation. |
| Crushing Chamber | Chamber Body, Soundproof Layer | Provides a rigid crushing structure and helps reduce operating noise. |
| Cutting System | Rotor (Main Shaft), Rotary Blades, Fixed Blades | Performs high-speed cutting and shearing. Blade materials such as SKD-11, Cr12MoV, and 9CrSi provide high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and longer service life. |
| Screening System | Screen, Screen Cradle | Controls the output particle size and allows convenient screen replacement for different crushing requirements. |
| Power & Drive System | Electric Motor, V-Belts & Pulleys, Flywheel | Delivers stable power transmission and maintains smooth rotor operation during continuous crushing. |
| Control & Safety System | Control Box, Overload Protection, Safety Interlock Switches | Improves operational safety and protects the machine during continuous production. |
