Details Of PVC Silent Pipe Extrusion Line

1. Raw Material Mixing
PVC resin, stabilizers, lubricants, and mineral acoustic fillers such as calcium carbonate or barium sulfate are accurately proportioned and mixed in a high-speed mixer. The material is hot-mixed at approximately 110–115°C to ensure uniform distribution of fillers and additives, helping prevent structural defects during subsequent extrusion.
2. Low-Pulsation PVC-U Extrusion
The prepared dry blend is fed into conical twin-screw extruder, where it is heated, mixed, conveyed, and fully plasticized into a uniform PVC-U melt. Stable feeding and screw operation maintain consistent melt pressure and output, which is essential for forming the complex cross-section of the hollow spiral silencing pipe.
3. Spiral Pipe Forming
The plasticized PVC-U melt enters a specially designed single-layer hollow-wall pipe die, where precision internal flow channels distribute the melt and form the required hollow-wall and spiral internal structure. The pipe emerges from the die with its basic spiral cross-section already formed at approximately 170–180°C, although the material is still hot and soft at this stage.

5. Synchronized Haul-Off
After cooling, the formed PVC spiral drainage pipe enters the multi-claw haul-off unit. Proper speed control helps prevent wall thinning, hollow-section deformation, or material accumulation during continuous production.
6. Automatic Cutting
The finished PVC-U silent drainage pipe is continuously transferred to the cutting unit, which synchronizes with the pipe movement and cuts it into preset lengths. Controlled cutting helps maintain consistent product length while minimizing deformation of the hollow-wall and spiral internal structure.
