Description

PVC edge banding production lines are mainly used to produce furniture edge banding tape, U shape edge band, flate edge banding, etc.
The main component of PVC edge banding is polyvinyl chloride, which is produced through processes such as mixing, calendering, and vacuum forming. Thickness ranges from 0.3 to 3 mm, and width from 12 mm to 80 mm.

1. The quality of the edge banding tape is greatly influenced by its formulation.
2. Granulation: The uniformly mixed material undergoes its first plasticization in a conical twin-screw extruder. Under the high temperature and shear force of the extruder, the additives not only mix evenly but also form molecular bonds with the PVC resin, generating stable granules that ensure the edge banding strip does not change color when bent, thus achieving excellent quality.
3. Extrusion: The plasticized granules are fed into the extruder for secondary plasticization. The two-stage integrated design enhances the plasticizing function and ensures high-performance extrusion. It adopts an extra-large thrust bearing for high torque output.
4. Mold: Customized molds, made from high-quality 3Cr17 steel, are durable and ensure consistent quality of the edge banding strips. It achieves excellent bonding between the gold/silver foil and the PVC edge banding sheet.
5. Vacuum cooling: strict temperature control precision, combined air and water cooling for optimal performance.
